Waterloo Region – Due to the CUPE Local 1656 strike, Waterloo Region Police Service has added a temporary closure of the left turn lane at Airport Road. Waterloo Region – The Region of Waterloo’s Municipal Speed Camera program to support safer neighbourhoods and school zones has expanded. Additional cameras will be activated in neighbourhoods across Waterloo Region beginning March 3, 2025.
Waterloo Region - Region of Waterloo Public Health has issued 8,981 suspension orders to elementary school students whose vaccination records are not up-to-date with Public Health. Families now have the remaining five weeks to update vaccination records, obtain vaccines needed or apply for an exemption before the suspension orders take effect on April 2, 2025.
