  • Measles: Growth in cases and potential public exposure

    Waterloo Region – Region of Waterloo Public Health is reporting a total of 14 confirmed cases of measles in Waterloo Region and an additional public exposure.   Public Health is working to identify people who may have been exposed.

    Waterloo Region – Region of Waterloo Public Health has received confirmation of two more cases of measles along with additional public exposures related to the ongoing outbreak in southwestern Ontario.  Public Health is working to identify people who may have been exposed.

  • Reminder to parents and guardians: Act now to avoid school suspension next week

    Waterloo Region – Just over one week remains before school suspensions take effect for those who have received a notice of suspension from Public Health and have not updated their vaccination records.  If Public Health has not received up-to-date vaccination records, notification of an upcoming vaccination appointment, or valid exemptions by Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 4:30 p.
