Waterloo Region residents interested in serving on the Board of Directors for the Waterloo Regional Heritage Foundation can apply before 11:59 p.m.

Waterloo Region – As the weather warms up and water recreational season begins on the Grand River, the Region reminds residents to be cautious around dams. Over the next few weeks, residents will see new warning and danger signs at multiple locations around the Hidden Valley Dam on the Grand River to advise water users of the dam.

Waterloo Region – Secondary school suspensions will take effect on May 8, 2025, for those who have received a suspension order from Public Health and have not updated their vaccination records. Suspension orders and information on how to take corrective measures were mailed to affected secondary school students in mid-March.
